It is seen to cover up 766 square kilometres in size, Ocupying an elevation of between 1,100 metres to 1,600 metres. Despite encompassing primarily moist evergreen forest. Locals and the park: The outskirts of this park can been seen occupied by two major tribes, the Batooro and Bakiga, they use the park for food, fuel, medicinal herbs and other resources with the help of the Uganda Wildlife Authority.
Birding: The Park is recorded to have over 325 species of birds, including the olive long-tailed cuckoo, western tinkerbird, two species of pittas and the African grey parrot. And many more birds.
